In today's world, education is monetized, a luxury provided only to those with capital. The reality is that not everyone can afford the materials currently being hidden behind endless paywalls. Our solution? Better Future Program now provides over 3,000 free social justice, mental health, and academic resources, and we're collecting new resources every single day. Think of it as a library of sorts! But what do these documents contain?
Social Justice Resources | Free novels, PDFs, pamphlets, movies, interviews, and other forms of media pertaining to the following: racial injustice & prison/police abolition, Indigenous rights, antisemitism, islamophobia, migrant & refugee rights, climate change & intersectional environmentalism, gender equity, intersectional feminism, & womanism, reproductive rights & health, queer rights, disability rights (both mental and physical), classism, educational equity, political structures, and organizing
Mental Health Resources | Various hotlines and lifelines, COVID-19 information, and self care options pertaining to the following: teen helplines, LGBTQ+ resources, Black mental health, Indigenous mental health, Asian American mental health, Hispanic, Chincanx, & Latine mental health, resources specific to mental illnesses/disorders, domestic abuse helplines, substance abuse helplines, sexual abuse helplines, helplines for missing children, runaways, and homeless youth, and community-recommended tips, playlists, and online games
Academic Resources | Free studying and researching sites, guides, textbooks, novels, audiobooks, podcasts, and online courses pertaining to the following: college admissions, the sciences, mathematics, the humanities (including but not limited to linguistics, philosophy, psychology, mythology, the visual arts, etc.), and community-recommended music for studying
